We have so much fun creating every issue!
Fifteen years ago in a tiny cottage on the Cornish coast, the idea for The Green Parent magazine was born. With two small children under the age of three and a desire to work doing something meaningful, my partner, Jez, and I planned and mapped out the first few issues of the magazine on scrap paper, in front of the fire. Our family holiday, exploring the North Cornish coast, became a turning point in our lives. Now, fifteen years later, the magazine is growing year by year – readers still write to us and describe reading it as like “coming home” and each issue we get a sense of real joy and pleasure in putting it together.
We have an amazing team working on The Green Parent writing features, providing customer support, delighting readers on all our social channels and increasing distribution. Our brilliant advertising team work with plenty of ethical companies that promote their products within the magazine.
Our writers and contributors are an incredible force for good, sharing their beautiful, thought-provoking stories, illustrations and photographs in the magazine. And of course, thanks to our wonderful readers who continue to support what we are doing in producing this alternative to the mainstream. We thank you for your excitement and pleasure in reading The Green Parent and hope that its appeal continues long after your babies have grown.
