I live in the south of France. I have been involved in makeup industry since 2000 as Industrial Manager of a makeup factory. I founded my first own organic makeup brand and created the Zao brand in 2012. Since last year we have designed and put on the market another makeup brand which is customisable.
MY MORNING ROUTINE
Nothing really special, I would say: I wake up every day at 5.45. I do 20 minutes of yoga, shower, breakfast (Kousmine diet at the moment), then I go to my office (I promise I will use a bicycle soon, as I moved to the same village of my head offices 1 month ago). I cook every day. I stopped eating any kind of meat almost five years ago but I still eat fish. I play tennis and go running once or twice a week.
MY FUTURE PLANS
Plans are mainly to keep enjoying what we are doing, running our family business in our old farm in the middle of the countryside. We don’t aim to develop too fast in order to keep our peace of mind. We aim to continue working with our team of disabled people in our printing and assembly workshop. Our purpose is more to show that it’s possible to have a high quality organic certified makeup range with ethical values as I believe organic/natural will be the standard of tomorrow for cosmetics, and that ethics will be a necessity for our future. If our efforts can contribute to this evolution in the makeup industry and in consumers habits, then it will be a nice achievement. In this theme, we’d like to offer organic certified makeup brands for all kinds of people. We are working on a low-cost brand and a very luxurious one also, but keeping the same philosophy.
